Nestled close to a serene cycle path in the idyllic Bavarian countryside, Landgasthof Feihl is an unexpected gem. As a wildlife conservationist who often finds himself in nature-rich surroundings, it was refreshing to experience such a peaceful oasis after a long drive through the Autobahn. I appreciated the warm German hospitality, even if the language barrier added some humor to my stay. The restaurant served delightful traditional Upper Palatinate dishes, and I particularly enjoyed relaxing in the beer garden, savoring the local brews while my dogs romped on the spacious grounds. Waking up to the sounds of birds and views of rolling hills was a lovely touch. The free parking was a bonus, making it easy for me to continue my journey to explore the rich cultural highlights nearby like the Castle Ruins of Wolfstein. For nature lovers and adventure seekers, the proximity to outdoor activities like cycling and mountain biking is superb. If you're in need of a quiet retreat on your travels, I wholeheartedly recommend considering Landgasthof Feihl.
